Pickup time from your Hotel will be 5:00 AM and we start the day’s adventure with a 3.5 Hours drive to the trailhead (3,800 m.a.s.l) Enjoy a stunning car ride, as you reach the Alternative Rainbow Rainbows near the town of Palccoyo. From the trailhead, you will walk about 30 – 40 minutes to reach the viewpoint of the Tres Rainbows. Take your time and enjoy the views around you, as this is a leisurely day to enjoy the scenery. These recently discovered colored mountains, are a perfect option for those wanting to avoid the massive crowds in the Classic Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain and experience High Mountain and the remote beauty of the painted hills without the strenuous hiking. This is also an excellent option for families with children.

We don’t use locally made tents, which have a tendency to topple over in the wind or leak in the rain, like some operators.
BEST FOOD. We prepare hot meals on the mountain using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. Trust us, the box lunches that every other company gives to their clients day in and out will sap your energy for they are dry, tasteless and comprised of empty calories.

Cusco - Soraypampa - Humantay Lake - Cusco
Pickup time from your Hotel will be at 5:30 – 6:00 AM and we start the day adventure with a 4-hour drive to the trailhead called Soraypampa (3,800 m.a.s.l) It’s then a 2-hour hike uphill to Humantay Lake (4200 m.) located at the base of a mountain with the same name, the scenery along the way is beautiful and if the sky is clear enough, we will be able to see the impressive and famous snow mountains – Salkantay and Humantay. Once there you will be amazed by the views of the crystal clear water reflecting the sky, you can also see native birds, flowers, and magnificent mountain tops.
After some free time, we will start our descent to the trailhead (1 hour approx.) Here we enjoy a deserved Lunch and then we return to Cusco.
